Lead with the benefit ("Export feedback to CSV") not the implementation ("Added new API endpoint"). Customers care about outcomes.
Group by impact
Use Added, Changed, Fixed, and Removed sections. Major features deserve a sentence of context; minor fixes can stay brief.
Publish consistently
Irregular changelogs train users to ignore you. Ship notes with every meaningful release, even if some weeks are fix-only.
Distribute across channels
Host a public changelog page, show updates in your in-app widget, and share highlights on social or email for big launches. Repetition without spam builds habit.
