Terms of Service

Votiq is a customer feedback and lightweight product planning platform. Features may include an embeddable feedback widget, public customer portal, feature voting, roadmap, Kanban board, changelog, documentation, and related integrations.

We may update, improve, or discontinue features from time to time. We will use reasonable efforts to avoid material disruption to paid subscriptions, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis as shown at checkout. Prices are listed in GBP unless stated otherwise.

Standard and Plus plans may include a 7-day free trial. A valid payment method is required at trial start unless we state otherwise. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription converts to a paid plan at the then-current rate.

Fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or explicitly stated by us in writing.

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service ("Customer Content"), including feedback posts, roadmap items, changelog entries, and documentation. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display Customer Content solely to provide and improve the Service.

You must not use the Service to violate law, infringe rights, distribute malware, send spam, harass others, or attempt unauthorised access to systems or data.

If you embed the Votiq widget or operate a public portal, you are responsible for providing appropriate notices to your end users and obtaining any consents required under applicable privacy laws. Our processing of end-user data on your behalf is described in our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, data processing terms.

We own the Service, including software, branding, and documentation we provide, except for Customer Content. Starter plans may display "Powered by Votiq" branding as described on our pricing page.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or resell the Service except as expressly permitted.

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect the Service. You are responsible for configuring access controls within your workspace and reviewing integrations you enable.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through account billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, or if continued provision poses security or legal risk. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, subject to any data export window we make available.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Votiq will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability arising from or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) £100.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes to paid subscriptions will be communicated with reasonable notice where required by law.
